Commercial Hotel - Alness

Upon arrival, the chaotic karaoke ambiance and intoxicated patrons outside dissuaded us from staying. The reception area doubling as a bar left a poor initial impression.

The location was central, not far from the bakery up the road as well as a pub. Besides, it was at a short distance from Weston Park Museum.

Do recommend for a short stay

Decent bar, decent parking, with a comfortable room with a good shower and a tv that offered extra channels.

The property seemed fairly clean and the room was huge and spotless. The staff were amicable and very pleasant all the time. Had central location in the middle of the city. I found there a wide range of restaurants to eat, like Fyrish Tandoor that is only 5 minutes' walk away.

Chur, we walked in and walked out! The karaoke blaring at 5pm and drunk folk outside was a massive turn-off. The room had potential though, heaps spacious and comfy.

I encountered several discomforts . The room was uncomfortably cold, with heating only operating during limited hours. There was a persistent smell of damp in my room, likely coming from the bathroom. It was quite disappointing to have these issues overshadow my visit.

Perfect spot for the NC 500! I loved having private parking for my bike and the continental breakfast was quite decent.

Great location for the NC 500! My double room with a private bathroom was huge, super comfy beds, and had a good shower. Free toiletries and nice towels were a plus. The lounge was decent, and parking was easy. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.
